Force of Love
I have read many books about love and violence in one of my Comparative Literature classes I took last semester and was able to obtain and better understanding and meaning of the word "love". The force of love is a very complex concept to fully grasp and demands full obedience. It requires a movement of the body, especially the heart, and doesn’t promise happiness since it’s a creative and attractive force. Love is a rhythm that guarantees no product, but only a transformation or movement. One type of movement that takes place most is the force of togetherness, or loneliness, you feel in a crowd of people. Love and art seem to completely transform you into something you didn’t ever think you could even become and this could be a good thing or it could be violent. Love and art are able to take control of your body and you are only able to go along with it and listen to your heart. Love and art are both free and to each person can feel it in a completely different way. When in love you tend to take great risks and make personal changes to yourself in order to make it work. Some of these changes can be painful, but some can be for the better. After reading a variety of books on love, violence, and art in this course I learned that violence seems to be every where at all times through art and the body, especially in the media which is around us 24/7.
